Winery and vineyard real estate

British Columbia wineries and vineyards for sale

Search wineries, vineyards and wine estates for sale across British Columbia. BC is a geographically varied wine market, from the dry Interior valleys of the Okanagan and Similkameen to the cooler Fraser Valley and Vancouver Island regions.

British Columbia is best approached region by region. Interior properties may depend heavily on irrigation, water availability and heat exposure, while coastal wine property has different drainage, moisture and cool-climate considerations. The province's official wine regions span both settings, so a buyer should not assume that one BC vineyard market behaves like another.

For winery purchases, separate the real estate from the operating business. Confirm what is included in the sale, then review planted acreage, vineyard condition, water, production capacity, tasting or hospitality uses, residences, agricultural rules and any expansion plans with the appropriate advisers.

Okanagan Valley is BC's largest wine region and spans a long Interior valley with sharply different vineyard conditions from north to south. Winery scale, planted acreage, water and hospitality infrastructure can vary substantially.

Similkameen Valley has a drier, rugged agricultural setting where water, site exposure and vineyard condition deserve close attention. Fraser Valley is a cooler coastal market close to Metro Vancouver, with a different land base and visitor catchment.

Vancouver Island brings maritime growing conditions, while its Cowichan Valley sub-region concentrates much of the island's boutique winery activity around Duncan and nearby communities.
